Northwoods Cycle opened their doors in Rice Lake less than a year ago, celebrating their grand opening in June of this year, and have already made a lasting impact on our community.
On October 24th 2024, one week after the fire that destroyed four businesses in Rice Lake the Rice Lake Chamber of Commerce surprised the owners of Northwoods Cycle with the Good Neighbor Award.
Allison Hall and Tim Bradley, owners of Northwoods Cycle, were presented the award at the request of Danni Moon and Desmond Benavides, owners of Agonic Brewing Company, for their immediate support and care during and in the hours and days following the fire by opening their doors and providing a safe place for the owners of all the business along with their employees to meet while the flames ravaged the building next door.

Tim and Allison also set up a gofundme on behalf of all of the owners to assist in the recovery efforts.
In the eight days since the fire, at the time of publishing this article, the gofundme account has raised more than $10,000 of their $50,000 goal.
While being presented with the Good Neighbor Award, Bradley noted that they were just doing what community does, take care of each other, and that "burdens are lifted by many hands."
In addition to the gofundme account, Northwoods Cycle has donated a new bicycle to be a part of the silent auction at the Hip Hop To Help Fundraiser on November 16th at the Rice Lake Elks Lodge.
